They stole an hour of my birthday!
28 Mar 2004 04:15 pmStupid clocks went forward by an hour last night, bah. I demand that hour back, now
Still, it was a good party
So, thank you everybody for turning up and making it much fun!
Special thanks to
robinbloke for providing his house and use of his kitchen again and to everbody there (in no particular order): Paul D, Mouse,
andrewdavies,
autumn_storm,
twentypence,
jasonooc,
vyvyan,
razornet,
davywavy and
sogoth who came up all the way from Maidenhead.
The food (pasta with three sauces: Bolognese, ratatouille-ish veg sauce and Gorgonzola cream plus a Mousse au Chocolat as dessert) was well received with hardly any leftovers. Good thing I know my friends well and provided more meat than anything else... Shame that
poetman couldn't make it, I would have been interested in his opinion.
A really good evening with fun people, good food and drink, silly but also interesting conversations (thanks,
vyvyan!) and watching DVDs at the end. Didn't sleep too well but that was mostly due to Robin's awkward sofa. Must remember to bring air matress next time...
Despite having had over a bottle of wine I felt well this morning. Had breakfast and watched Futurama with the survivors (
robinbloke,
davywavy,
razornet and
vyvyan).
Am now home but need to go out and shop a bit for OJ and things. Er, it's Sunday, meaning Tesco's is closed now, d'oh. Oh well, Onestop it is, then.
