It seems I am cursed

Last year I couldn't go to see In Extremo live because I had the flu and the weather conditions were too dangerous, this year (tomorrow) I won't be able to go because the battery in my dad's car died inexplicably on Tuesday. Dad tried charging it yesterday without success as it would lose the charge at a rate of about one volt per hour. Germany being what it is over the holidays and not living in a reasonably sized city means there won't be a chance of purchasing a new battery before Saturday.

To add insult to injury, the video screwed up last night and Princess Mononoke is garbled...

Phew

The In Extremo concert has been postponed due to illness of one of the band members.
This means I'll still miss it when it's on later but it won't be for a stupid reason as I wouldn't have been able to go at a later date, anyway.
