Why oh Why Today? - and a request
28 Mar 2002 06:51 pmArgh, I just got up from bed again, feeling rather ill.
I dragged myself out earlier this afternoon to do the preliminary shopping for tomorrow and promptly forgot a vital ingredient I need tonight (Feta) and tissues. Need to go back later.
So, no fancy Chinese dinner tonight at the Peking House but dry toast and tea, make Dippadoom and pepper salad and go to bed early for a 12 hour sleep at least. That should put me back on track.
Will most likely still not feel 100% for the party tomorrow but I won't deny me the pleasure of cooking for and being with good friends, even if it means sticking to OJ and crashing out early.
I so hope I'll be a lot better tomorrow.
The weather was fantastic today as if to mock me, grrr.
Got this from a good friend of mine from Germany which made me laugh a lot. Sorry to the cat lovers out there ;o)
And a request for the party:
I would request that nobody mention the dreaded C word or anything regarding it (like M*). It's my birthday party and I don't want to be reminded about it, OK?
There will be a warning system, on the third one you're out. I'm serious.
Thanks a lot and hope to see many of you there
*opens fridge to be greeted by the smell of garlic*
"Excellent!" *rubs hands*
