Whoo, big game again with a good number of people, and most of them residents (either locals or people with Cambridge registered characters). Brand new players who got immediately stuck in.
[livejournal.com profile] phoenix_tat and [livejournal.com profile] k_lioness seem to have found their feet in the way things are here quite quickly as well, despite some minor language problems (Cowen pointing at Evan's character: We dress him up like a tramp. Evan: Nonono, I was thinking of a hat, a beard and a shabby coat. Cowen: Exactly - That's when we realised that "tramp" is used slightly differently in British and US English ;o)
As usual, it was utter chaos again, but nobody actually blew up anything big. Well, as if there was much left worth blowing up, anyway ;o)

It was an intense game with all 4 (A)STs having their hands full most of the time. I got to be evil on various occasions and had players glare at me ;o)

Right, off to write down the important things so I don't forget them for my report.
Changeling in 11.5 hours, preparing to get hassled by Andy and Christi ;o)

Go and make the test here.
I failed ;o)
Oh, and thanks to [livejournal.com profile] whethergal for the link.

Anyone out there who could point me to the lyrics of what the choir are singing?
It's usually in sequences with either Nazgul, Orcs or other Mordor/Sauron things, so I assume it's Black Speech (or just random babble ;o).

I just posted a mail to the Cambridge list in which I offered my DST position for Cambridge C/A up for grabs when the anniversary (and AGM) comes round in April.
It's been overdue, I think, as I simply don't feel up to doing my job as thoroughly as I should be. My main problem is writer's block at the moment and too many other distractions. I still enjoy the actual running of the game immensly, it's more the stuff in the background like writing plots and backgrounds and news stories etc.

I hope there will be someone who's willing to take it up. Well, they've got three months to decide and I won't be gone afterwards, either. And if there's no one - hopefully not! - I'll continue.

Simple point: I will have been doing it for three years in April, it's time for change.
