Back at work

*Sigh*
Oh well, at least I'm busy.
I'd rather be home writing downtimes and background things, though, as although my cold is a lot better I'm still sniffing and soaking tissue after tissue.
Considered taking the day off sick but I had stuff to do and we are currently understaffed in the German department and I didn't really want to inflict what I'm doing at the moment on someone else ;o)

Something to look forward to: Enterprise starts tonight at 8 on SkyOne. Should be reasonable from what I've heard, even if the ep (Unexpected) I saw when I was in LA didn't convince me at all. Good characters but bad story. Then again, it was one of the worst rated on Jammer's Review page. This guy seems to pretty much share my thoughts on ST things.

Tuesday night is pub and hopefully, phoenix_tat and his wife Karen will be able to drop in. Should be cool if they meet us before the actual game so the shock of getting dropped into the Cambridge mob won't be that great ;o). Real cool thing is they will play 'ling as well.

I think I'll go and see LotR again on Wednesday. Leave early in the morning so I can catch an early evening show. I so need to see it again, even if it's just to get the bits I missed first time round. And then again soon just because.

Having flaky skin

isn't really fun unless when I play my Nos. ("Hey, how did you make that flaky skin on your fingers?" - "That? Oh, that's natural" - "Ewww") ;o)

I've had dry skin all my life but two years or so I get attacks of proper psoriasis, inherited from my dad, thank you very much. Thankfully it's only in a couple of spots and using lots of E45 usually gets rid of it. It's not really bad, either, just irritating and the one spot on my thumb is right at a joint which means the skin gets stretched constantly which doesn't help the healing proces. That spot is currently eating a blob of E45 every hour without much improvement. If this goes on, I'll have to see a dermatologist soon, argh.

I only got bad things passed down from my dad, curly hair, strange feet and toes, psoriasis, dandruff, premature hair loss, etc...
