karohemdand it is indeed very good. What really made the film for me were the little touches and references and I think it's a really good vehicle for revitalising the franchise, just like what the new BSG did.
My only real problem was the design of the Enterprise, too clean, too white, too bright, too shiny but I liked the tech elements of it, the mix of touchscreen and hands on button pushing/switch flicking.
