Wandered around St. Andrew's and over the bridge at lunch. It really is wide (and on the D700, that's true 12mm at the wide end) so straight lines will never be straight but you can do wonderful things with curved ones.

The manual explicitly states that it can be prone to ghosting and flare in certain light situations and this shot clearly proves that. A little practice and I'll be able to use it to my advantage.

It's perfectly sharp all the way, though, as exemplified in this shot at f14.
