I've not seen it but my workmate has and says it's not a jar- it's a tank.

I believe we have a whole one. It's a Giant Squid though. They had to hire the people who made tanks for Damien Hirst.

We also have the type specimen of the Colossal Squid Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni too.

Giant Squid (Architeuthis) are really rather different. They're in a completely different family.
