Ancient photos of me with lots of bad hair

I went through a couple of old albums today and took some photos of photos, from when I was a baby to my Confirmation. I'll have to redo some of them on a decent monitor with better software but you get the idea. There are more but uploading takes ages on my parents' slow computer with the PAYG dialup connection.

And of course I was wearing flares, this was the 70s (September 76 to be precise). ;o)

It was a proper winter, too, as you can see. My aunt and grandma are packed in warm, too so I guess it was quite cold. -10C wasn't at all rare those days.

I had never heard of a shultute before but what a fun idea. In the UK it's almost the dreaded first day of school. I don't know how it's viewed in Germany, but if I got a big cone of sweets, I think I'd be pretty excited too!

Cheers! It's the best photo of the lot. I'm not sure what the photographer did to actually make me smile properly.
I think it's a rather unique custom but a great idea, I think. I was certainly looking forward to opening it. :o)

I'm actually surprised that nobody has commented on the resemblance of my hairdo to that of Moss from the IT Crowd.

I'm not quite sure who the girl with the rose was because everybody looked quite different in the class photo I've got.
