Watching MacGyver season 1 on DVD. (currently, "The Heist") and drinking a not so wee dram of malt (this cask strength Old Man of Hoy).

pmoodie once mentioned that he eats Jelly Babies with malt whisky. I didn't have any but figured dried fruit mix (raisins etc.) would be a good substitute and indeed it works quite well.

Hmm- that sounds like quite a nice dram. Blackadder do do some reasonable ones.

Yes, it's nice to have somehting sweet to offset the wjisky taste. I definitely advise you to try the Jelly Babies at some point! :)

Yes, it works best with the peaty, smoky ones. Something from Islay is best. :)
