[Cambridge] Riverside Bridge

It looks like this bridge is going to be built after all. They're felling a row of trees along the North bank of the river at the moment.
I think I'm going to bring in my camera regularly to keep track of the progress.

Date: 16/2/07 01:43 pm (UTC)The trees are being felled exactly where the bridge is supposed to sit on (west of the new development, next to the ditch). There's a 4x4 van thing with "Tree Surgery" on it so I guess they got in the specialists, which makes sense.
It could be conicidence but I don't see any other reason why. They weren't damaged in the recent storms, for example.

Date: 16/2/07 01:47 pm (UTC)It would still make a difference because I can't just walk along the river from here to the Green Dragon but have to walk out to the High St. and in on Ferry Lane again. A footpath along the river on this bit would be nice.
