Switch off brain, don't think about the plot or if there is one or not, lay back and enjoy the action. Brilliant fight scenes, good makeup and costumes and quite graphic and gory. And it had Ron Perlman (Reinhard) in it, one of my favourite actors.
Very different vamp movie to QotD as it does away with the classical vampire myth and explains vampirism as a genetic mutation/viral infection.
