Weekend update

Very relaxing, lots of sleep, food and DVDs.
- Went to the MotM for the Kreuzdammer gig on Friday which was enjoyable and resulted in a few cool photos and a video (which I might upload to YouTube at one point or not).
- Finished BSG Season 1 (what an ending!) and can't wait to borrow Season 2 (robinbloke, will you be at the pub tomorrow so I can give you Season 1 back?)
- Watched Transporter 2 (mucho brainless fun) and Princess Mononoke (beautiful and weird) on DVD and the original The Omen on TV (so dated and yet so good and effects like the photographer's graphic demise were incredibly well done for the time)
- made a small dent into my photo backlog (finally finished Maria and Heidi) but still much to do. Good thing is that I only have one scheduled photoshoot this year (the wonderful _ebb_) and possibly Black Celebration which means I should be getting through the lot before I leave for my big trip which will generate several weeks' worth of photos if the weather's good.
- next weekend will be a long one (took Monday and Tuesday off) so I can get cracking and finish important stuff.
- looks like we'll be getting our Pyrates characters soon. Whooo.
- need to go shopping before I go home tonight as I have run out of various essentials like toothpaste.

Ooh, I shall be very keen to see what you shoot at Black Celebration. Is it at Camden Palace/ Koko, or somewhere else?

The current venue is Islington Academy. Knowing the history of BC, that might well end up somewhere else on the night. ;oÞ
Deathboy and Chaos Engine should be good fun to shoot but I'm not sure about the rest.

Islington Academy is very entertaingly situated. If feels strange going into a shopping mall for a gig.

I shot Queen Adreena there, adn I quite liked the place from the point of view of the photographer.

I've been there several times (last for Nitzer Ebb) and like it as a venue, too.
