Windows XP SP2

karohemdMore and more new things (like Adobe Lightroom) won't run under SP1 and I slowly see myself forced to upgrade.
However, I've heard many bad things about running the upgrade process with things crashing or not working anymore afterwards. My SP1 machine has been running very smoothly and I don't want to end up having to reinstall everything.
Any advice from the geeks muchly appreciated.
