I now have two prop books to carry around in Vamp:

The Queen's Conjuror - The Life and Magic of Dr Dee
and
The Complete Enochian Dictionary

Queens Conjuror - Read it as well. It's fascinating

Yep a great book

The first one I'm actually going to read because it fascinates me as well, the second one is more a prop really. Got to justify what's on my sheet a bit.

Hm, I could be evil, though. ST says, you find this text written in Enochian, I say, cool, send it over, I'll translate it... ;o)

May I further suggest...

The Abramelin the Mage book of Hermetic Magic, I forget the proper title...

Somebody want to pay me for reading?
I'll have to give up my job if I wanted to read all the books people recommend to me. I currently have a backlog that lasts me at least three months.
Thanks for the tip, though.

Does the word 'Klupp' mean anything in German?

Nope.
You might be thinking of Krupp. Foundries, steel works and the like.

Nah, it was an 'Allo, Allo' query. Apparently the writers thought it meant 'ditto' or something.

Well, shows what they know.
It's like the "Germans" in Die Hard. Those played by actual Germans use correct German, the others don't.
I can't remember what it was, some US TV series a couple of weeks ago where some people spoke correct German but with horrible accents. I was quite impressed.

You mean 'Yippie Kie Ay, Kemo Sabe,' isn't German?

I meant the things the pseudo Germans said, like Alan Rickman's "Schieß den Fenster!" *cringe*

LOL!
"Quick, quick, the [dialect for penis] is short!"?

I think it was supposed to refer to the fuse?

Prefer yours, though. Er, translation, that is.

What they tried to translate was "Time is short" which would be "Die Zeit ist knapp."
