(A Town Called) Eureka

Just watched the pilot of this one on Sky One.
It's quirky, funny in places but I'm not quite sure where it's supposed to be going atm. I hope there will be some nice character development and some insights into backgrounds etc. rather than just one quirky scientific experiment going wrong each week.
Usually I would ask my US friends for their opinion but for once, they are only a couple of weeks ahead of us.

It has some interesting characters and there's definitely potential so I'll keep watching for a few weeks to see where it's going. Nice stuff to wind down while having a bite after Tai Chi, at the least.

I quite enjoyed it to be honest. Hoping it doesn't lose it's way as well. Nice little intrigue at the end with the faked suicide.

Missed the pilot but from the adverts from it looked like Eerie Indiana with adults.

It was really entertaining, though the humour was a lot stronger than the 'darker' elements - guy having his leg melted off, dead dogs and Inside of a Cow!(tm), what with them being somewhat undermind by the aforementioned comedy.

If they can keep it balanced without reverting to a see-sawing between the two it should stay well worth watching
