Everything's prepped, the potatoes (tossed with some duck fat I kept and the meat marinade) are roasting in the oven, the veg (kohlrabi, podded broad beans and chopped chard stems) is ready to be cooked and the lamb chops are out of the fridge to warm up a bit.
Now it only needs to be ready before Dr Who starts...
I also finally opened the bottle of Vina Carmen organic Cabernet Sauvignon I've had for a while (bought via Rivernene) and it's gorgeous. Dark and fruity but still reasonably light. Should work very well with the lamb.
