skorpionuk did the German version so I'll put the regional variant when applicable. whiskeylover and madmoses, feel free to chip in and faerierhona could provide the Austrian version. ;o) I think the rest of the Germans on my f-list don't have a dialect.

Vuagl (note that the German V at the beginning is pronounced like F)
12. Round food stuff made with batter on a griddle, which is brown on the outside:
this is a really weird one, at home this was always "Auflauf" although in proper German, Auflauf is something you cook in the oven, a bake.
13. A delicacy that you feel is particularly local to you:
poached carp ("blue" as the skin turns blue when you marinate the carp with a bit of vinegar before poaching). This is a traditional dish for Christmas Eve and/or New Year's Eve.
14. Term of endearment:

Shrose-bry, Newcassel, Glarse-go. (note, many Germans would propably pronounce the "shrews" part as in the animal and the "bury" part as in "to bury someone").

Sounds a bit like "kay" would in English but with a weird inflection in a sound.
Transcribing dialect isn't easy and it's been a while since I read anything written in dialect (Deas Gschichtn etc.) so it might not be correct. I don't know the phonetic alphabet, either. I always have to read dialect texts out loud to understand them. It's really weird.
