Go ahead.
Tell me.
Which is it?

1) She's already involved with someone.
2) She's a lesbian and thus wouldn't be interested in me.
3) She's not interested in anyone, male or female.
4) She can't stand facial hair.
5) She can't stand Doctor Who and Doctor Who fans.
6) She can't stand gamers.
7) She has less than a year before she dies of [insert terminal illness here].

Got to be something like that.

<sigh>

She is much with the yumminess.

4) is a possibility. I'm not sure, though.

She can read this, so might well reply. ;o)

D'oh! <grin> Ahh, well. What I have written, I have written.

4. preference for clean-shaven, but I don't run screaming from beards.
5. no.
6. no.

That balances out wonderfully since I'm horrid with maths.

I'm a crazy cat lady?
I like Garth Brooks?
I've seen the Spice Girls in concert (and enjoyed it)?

Don't encourage the poor sod.

On second thoughts, do, the UK would be much enriched by a permanent Timelord presence.

Since when was admitting that I'm an accountant *encouraging* anyone?

[identity profile] emilydongray.livejournal.com 2005-09-28 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
I love the top one, but am not qualified to say that.

[identity profile] karohemd.livejournal.com 2005-09-28 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
Huh, why not?
*confused*

[identity profile] emilydongray.livejournal.com 2005-09-28 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
'cos I am not a photographer. It might *actually* be crap.

[identity profile] karohemd.livejournal.com 2005-09-28 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I take photos for other people to enjoy and if I post one and only one person says "I love that one!", I have reached that goal.
I don't care if the photo doesn't have "artistic merit" or doesn't comply with certain compositional rules.

[identity profile] karohemd.livejournal.com 2005-09-28 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, and the top one is my favourite from this set, too. The colour one by the gate might be the best one of them all (maybe even the best photo I've taken so far) but this one is closest to what I had in mind for this particular theme.

*sigh* soooooo cool :)

Cheers!

Hehehe... you know I have a getup that's nearly identical. [livejournal.com profile] puddingcat - oh look there's a convenient Whitby coming up! I have a cunning plan :-D You've done the 'phwoar' pics with the camera maestro and I can see an almost comedic parody set in Whitby...

[identity profile] karohemd.livejournal.com 2005-09-28 12:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Now I wish I'd go to Whitby. I've got you in my sights as well, you know. ;o)

I think I'll overcome my apprehensions and come along in April next year and if it's only to take photos...

[identity profile] davefish.livejournal.com 2005-09-29 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
The last one was excellent, but I am not so fond of the processing on the first one. This might just be that I find that the grain you have added seems very like JPEG compression noise. Mind you, I've no idea how to add somethign that looks like good old-fashioned grain to a digital image in photoshop, so people in glass houses and all that.

Thanks!

[identity profile] karohemd.livejournal.com 2005-09-29 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I experimented a bit with a mix of Noise and Blur but adding any blur would just wash out the photo while the Noise would keep the contrast better.
I'm sure there's a technique for simulating actual grain involving hours of fiddling in various layers but that goes beyond my limited knowledge and skill with photoshop.

At the moment I see it this way: If I manage to get results that come close or even beyond what the model had in mind, I'm very happy indeed.
