1) She's already involved with someone. 2) She's a lesbian and thus wouldn't be interested in me. 3) She's not interested in anyone, male or female. 4) She can't stand facial hair. 5) She can't stand Doctor Who and Doctor Who fans. 6) She can't stand gamers. 7) She has less than a year before she dies of [insert terminal illness here].
Well, I take photos for other people to enjoy and if I post one and only one person says "I love that one!", I have reached that goal. I don't care if the photo doesn't have "artistic merit" or doesn't comply with certain compositional rules.
Oh, and the top one is my favourite from this set, too. The colour one by the gate might be the best one of them all (maybe even the best photo I've taken so far) but this one is closest to what I had in mind for this particular theme.
Hehehe... you know I have a getup that's nearly identical. puddingcat - oh look there's a convenient Whitby coming up! I have a cunning plan :-D You've done the 'phwoar' pics with the camera maestro and I can see an almost comedic parody set in Whitby...
The last one was excellent, but I am not so fond of the processing on the first one. This might just be that I find that the grain you have added seems very like JPEG compression noise. Mind you, I've no idea how to add somethign that looks like good old-fashioned grain to a digital image in photoshop, so people in glass houses and all that.
I experimented a bit with a mix of Noise and Blur but adding any blur would just wash out the photo while the Noise would keep the contrast better. I'm sure there's a technique for simulating actual grain involving hours of fiddling in various layers but that goes beyond my limited knowledge and skill with photoshop.
At the moment I see it this way: If I manage to get results that come close or even beyond what the model had in mind, I'm very happy indeed.

Tell me.
Which is it?

7) She has less than a year before she dies of [insert terminal illness here].
Got to be something like that.
<sigh>
She is much with the yumminess.

I like Garth Brooks?
I've seen the Spice Girls in concert (and enjoyed it)?

On second thoughts, do, the UK would be much enriched by a permanent Timelord presence.

I think I'll overcome my apprehensions and come along in April next year and if it's only to take photos...

Thanks!
