Good lord!

[identity profile] ffutures.livejournal.com 2006-01-28 09:44 am (UTC)(link)
My guess it was meant to be £49. Pillocks...

That would be too cheap for 2GB. Around £80 would be a very good price.

Well, I used the handy feedback form at the bottom of the page to tell them the price can't be right.

I'm waiting for these to get down to more sensible prices.

Well, the above shouldn't cost more than 120 quid...

Yeah, those would be nifty.

Assuming they actually exist and it's not just a CF card with an ATA interface on the front.

[identity profile] neilh.livejournal.com 2006-01-29 10:59 am (UTC)(link)
I'm guessing they don't exist, since we don't really have (non-specialist) software that'll deal with 1Tb of RAM, which is one of their products.

Same sort of thing here.

I found it while looking for Star Wars RP supplements, it must be one hell of a book ; )

I have a maplin catalouge somewhere from last year detailing a 2gb CF card at £699.99

[identity profile] karohemd.livejournal.com 2006-01-28 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh.
The Kingston ones I've got cost just under £90. If you're looking for some higher spec, they're around 120 but not very much more.
