[Photography] dlab7.com

I recently found dlab7 via a link [livejournal.com profile] the_magician posted, had a look and found that they offer incredible prices for prints.
When you use their upload feature (instead of sending in a CD), a 12x8 print costs only 70p, with no minimum number. I selected 10 recent and varied  photos (portraits, architecture, still lives in colour and b&w) and uploaded them on Tuesday morning. They arrived today packed in two(!) sturdy cardboard tubes and look very good indeed. My layman's eyes can't see a difference between them and other services (Peak Imaging etc.), on the contrary, I spotted flaws in the photos I didn't spot on screen...
On top of that, P&P was only 49p, and the cardboard tubes are perfectly reusable.

So, if you're looking for somewhere to print your photos, I'd recommend them, especially if it's only a few.

Right, do you definitely recommend them, as I have just zipped up all my to print queue, and its ready to go. I may try the first 10 or something, just to test.

How quick is it?

I do, yes. They looked fine to me (which doesn't mean they will to you).
By all means, try only 10 and see what they look like first, postage isn't much.
It took three or four days, I think.

The first batch are off now, so hopefully I'll see how they turn out. Hopefully I'll be happy with them and do a big pile more. Especially if I can persuade them to post them to my work.
