Gorillaz

Finally bowed to the pressure and bought Demon Days and I'm glad I did.
Very impressive. Also, every track is different, as they draw the best from a huge number of musical styles and somehow manage to make them their own. I don't think mostly electronic music ever sounded that good.

"Fire Coming Out Of The Monkey's Head" is my favourite, closely followed by, strangely enough, "Dare".

I might write a longer review soon but I'm very busy.
10/10

My favourite track too.

However I returned the album. Excellent though it is, I don't buy copy protected pseudo-CDs, since they aren't fit for the intended purpose.

I managed to rip it just fine.

I had no problems with it in any way whatsoever. Did you get the special edition with a DVD version, or just the regular one?

How could you ever have doubted?

Dare is strangely fantastic in that early retro 90's style throwback to the 80's way :D

Exactly. I should hate it but it grooves.

I keep meaning to pick a copy up, might have to actually do it now :)

Demon Days is not at all the kind of music I would normally buy for myself. However, my friend Andy got me a copy for my birthday and I'll be damned if it isn't a fine bit of work :-)

Fire Coming Out Of The Monkeys Head is my favourite track as well. I mean, it's Dennis Hopper! That's all I needed to know.

How curious; I might have to borrow/rip that off you..
