Ebay sellers should state that they're heavy smokers. Urk.
At least the flashgun is still in its original packaging so only the outer box stinks like a pub ashtray...

Will give the SB-600 a short test tonight when I've found some batteries.

I got a travel guitar off someone (not on ebay, but on my ISP) and it still smells faintly of smoke (at least five years later) ... I've got a secondhand backpack downstairs (Karrimor) which was dirt cheap up the car boot sale, and it was only when I got it home I realised how much it reeks of smoke (and even after leaving it out on the line during the rain, it still does, I think I'll need to some more strenuous decontaminating!)

And the plate I bought on ebay that arrived this morning came with a smoky aroma to the packaging ... sigh.
