I'm one of those so-called freaks who like liver too (well, some liver at any rate)...

Have you tried leeks/spring onions and cabbage instead of onions and spinach?

I do like liver as well (but I'm not sure how this came up).
Yep. What I use always depends on what's in my veg box (or my grocer has in stock).
