Gaming on Microsoft surface

This looks vaguely interesting:

More on this project

It goes a bit far for me, though. I'd rather still use my own dice but it would be great for displaying maps, player handouts (which wouldn't get lost) and the like but for that purpose you could just integrate an LCD screen into a table which would be a lot cheaper than $15,000, even if you had to make the table yourself.
Big question, though: Is it spill-proof?

[TV] Defying Gravity

Oh dear.
For some reason, I expected this to be a bit of hard SciFi. Set 40odd years in the future, astronauts are off on a cruise around the solar system. Interesting premise, awful execution. It's utter tosh, a soap in space, complete with slowmo walk up to the rocket, sex in zero gravity, people being blown out of airlocks, others hearing voices. Star Trek technobabble makes more sense than their pseudo science. Bad bad bad and not in a good way. *cringe*

The Twitterverse pretty much agrees.
