The expanded notification system is now also available for paid members.
The only major change I have seen is that the comment notifications I get are now in frigging HTML despite the setting still being on "Plain text". Muppets. ETA: It's a known issue.
I have yet to test the watch comments thing.

Seaside holiday tips near Cambridge?
To those of you who travel by public transport, what is the best way of getting to somewhere "nice" by the seaside that isn't too far from Cambridge?
A colleague is looking into explring the area a bit more and looking for suggestions.
