No, it's not. I can't stand it, at least not the trick-or-treating, cheap plastic kind. South American style Day of the Dead stuff is cool but the over-commercialised American rubbish isn't.
I'd love if we had the flamboyant celebrations, but likewise the trick or treat is a time for kids to have some fun which is something we don't let kids do in this society. Yes, you have some bad eggs that spoil things but there is nothing wrong with the Americanized halloween.
