"There is no Spoon"

Is and will be one of the best (if derivative) lines in film ever. I still can't believe I was the only one losing it with laughter during that particular showing when I saw it at the cinema. (IIRC, the same happened to [livejournal.com profile] sesquipedality and [livejournal.com profile] raggedy_man who saw it on a different day).

ETA: And the bit with the sword tip grinding between Cooper's teeth one of the most goosebumps/cringe inducing ones.

As far as I'm aware, there is only one good film with that line in it. It's the one you're describing.

Correct. The oddest looks I've ever got in a cinema.

goosebumps/cringe inducing ones...there is a James Bond film where he uses a diamond to scratch glass to then break it...the diamond was attatched to a baddies tooth at the time!

Yeah, same line got Chris Jones (NOLJ) and myself when we saw it at the cinema.

The conversation about which bodily function the lycanthropic urge to change most resembles sticks in my mind as well, though perhaps that's just because I have a scatological sense of humour.

Which film are you referring to? Obviously, it was in The Matrix, and from that it became my pre-gig mantra for many years to quell my nervousness before a show.

Dog Soldiers (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0280609/) which was on TV last night.

That would explain why you didn't get the post. Sorry to have ruined that moment for you. :/

We are now up against live, hostile targets. So, if Little Red Riding Hood should show up with a bazooka and a bad attitude, I expect you to chin the bitch.

*grins*

It's one of my favourite films, ever. <3

Nope, it's the dog playing with his guts... :-P

I can live with that. It's the sound the sword makes that gets to me.

Oh yes, I laughed heartily. Can't remember if anybody else did but then, there were only very few people in the cinema.
I shook the manager's hand and thanked him on the way out.
