Oxford

I assume jumping off a bridge in Oxford is about as dangerous as in Cambridge?

There are signs on bridges in the River Dee telling people not to jump off. Unfortunately, when I lived in Chester, I always noticed people jumping every summer. The main danger there was the undercurrent.

I went on a Ghost tour in October 2005, and one of the stories was that people haunted he bridge because of drowning.

The main danger in Oxford and Cambridge is breaking your legs or spine because the rivers are so shallow...

Wow. How fucking stupid can people get?

No, wait. Don'r answer that.

It's open from 1 May - 27 September 2009 and I can get you free tickets. (Please note that it is closed on Sundays).

If it's open til September, it's probably worth waiting until the first rush is over. Early June?
