Bolt again
He just flew through his semifinal. A bit of a slow start, picked it up until he was in the lead and then just trundled over the line...
Right, back to mundane stuff. :o(

The pursuit is a straightforward chase.
The team sprint is a sort of relay where three riders take it in turns to lead, and only the first rider across the line's time is important.
The individual sprint is only timed over the last 600 metres as the riders build up the speed.
In the kierin a lead bike ramps up the speed before a free-for-all.
The points race is like the intermediate sprints on a Tour-de-France stage, but more of them over a smaller distance.
No-one understands the Madison.
