Oh dear or maybe yay?

Phil Glenister in "unnamed Van Helsing project", from Hunt to Hunter. He might just be able to turn this idea around. Modern "Vampire dramas" have been rather meh recently.

Interesting. If he's involved, I'll certainly check it out.

Hmm. I await with interest, morbid curiosity, but no optimism.
I fear that Robin Hood burned the last of my crop of optimism on this sort of thing, and sowed the fields with salt. Still, hope springs eternal...

Yeah, I heard about this. I'm a bit wary of the fact that it's an ITV production...

I know what you mean about modern vampire dramas. They've pretty much been done to death.

I never watched, but heard good things about Hex, so despite being ITV/Murdoch, it might be watchable, although I suspect much silliness will be evident.

OTOH, vampire—you gotta expect silliness, right? If it tries to be Buffy, it'll fail, if it tried to be itself, it might work. We'll watch it anyway.

I think I caught bits of HEX and then couldn't watch it because it clashed with real life or something.

Oh yes, I expect silliness. The good thing about TV is that you can just switch off or change the channel.
