[Film] Cloverfield
Was good. It's a monster ravages Manhattan romp filmed from the perspective of a group of people who end up right in the middle of it and their struggle to get out and/or survive.
The shaky cam was bearable but I guess people who suffer from motion sickness easily should be advised against watching this film. There's a lot of mayhem but little blood/gore.
Considering nothing was resolved and we don't know how it actually ended (monsters dead in the "hammer down" or not) might mean we'll see a sequel but I'm not sure if I want to.
I thought the head of the Statue of Liberty was far too small but I checked the stats and it's 5.3m from chin to cranium, so that about fits.
I stayed til the end of the trailers and then completely missed the sound bite at the end. What did it say?

Do you remember when they were on the bridge near the start? Just before the brother dies, you see another man recording everything on a camera? Hints dropped that the sequel will be concurrent...
Also, at the end, on the ferris wheel... did you see anything?

No? Your powers of observation are probably better than mine or I was getting tired. ;o)
