It must be spring

The sun was shining, the air isn't unpleasantly wet/cold anymore, the birds are singing and I washed my windows. I just should have stayed up when I got up to have a pee at 9 but I really wasn't feeling like being up yet.
The big chores will have to wait til tomorrow, then. Absolutely nothing on TV tonight so I'll be catching up on Eureka.

Mentioning birds, starlings are well known to imitate the calls of other birds but today I heard one that definitely sounded like a mobile phone ringtone. ;o)

Glorious day out there; first time my nose has been clear in nearly a week and what lovely air!

Starlings will mimic anything, it's a valuable trait amongst males, the most inventive males win the females...unless she thinks it really is a phone going off of course :-D

Yep - the starlings round our way have quite a range of mobile phone sounds between them. One of them also has the sound of Paul's old car alarm, which is quite distracting!

Ooops.
