I (and three other Germans I don't know) will be on 209 Radio (just click the green OGG link) from 12 noon BST discussing life in the UK as a foreigner and specifically German. Looks like I'll only be able to play one piece of music, though. :o(

Yes, I thought you were very restrained in your choice. Better than the other disposable pop, although the classical track was nice.
Do you not fancy taking the host up on his offer and maybe contributing to the radio station by doing an "alternative" german music show?

raggedy_man and I have been thinking about doing an Octaine show on 209. As the clubnight is now dead, it might be an idea to resurrect it in another way.
Just an alternative German show would be too narrow for me but if they come up with a regular German slot, I'd be very much interested in contributing.

Well, truth be told, I would not have put it beyond you to bring some Fennesz or Ant-Zen. ;-)

Yeah, the looks would have been funny. "Argh, my decks are broken." - "No, they aren't" :o)
I did have some Das Ich, too, which would have been a fitting choice as they are from the same area in Germany.
If we ever get round to doing an Octaine radio show, I'll play that, too. :o)
