I can heartily recommend a cheese called Dovedale Blue. It's like stilton, but more creamy than crumbly, and very smooth. Mmmmm...

A good Shropshire Blue is also delightful (needs to be a good one though, so forget the stuff they sell in Sainsburys...).
The M & S Bluesticks (I think, something like that- a fairly bright yellow blue cheese) is also rather good
