I would have thought Norwegian Folk Dancing is just as amusing to Germans as it is to Brits...Although you do do that dressing in Lederhosen and banging your steins on the table thing, don't you?

Even less than that, actually. Lederhosen are a strictly Southern Bavaria (and Austria and parts of Switzerland) thing.
