Just in case people in the UK are unaware

Guillermo del Toro's superb Pan's Labyrinth has just started on Channel 4.

Fab film! I have it on DVD already. :-)

watching it now. love, love LOVE that film

seen it before, wasn't won over, tbh i had such high hopes for the film from the adverts only to find the film was not how i imagined it to be . Just watched stardust instead, now THATS a proper fantasy film. Corny but utterly enjoyable

Why is it that when a film I really like (eg Pan's Labyrinth) is on TV I feel compelled to watch it, despite owning it on DVD and being able to watch it whenever I like!

I can't explain it because I do it as well.

ditto

Ahhh! I missed it. Seen it before, but only once, and I loved it. Thanks for the heads up anyway!

I haven't forgotten about the Cane Hill pictures by the way - I just keep forgetting at the vital moments.. remembering when I'm in bed, or driving around, or at work, that sort of thing. But it will be done! It's just that lots of mindless drivel seperates us from that moment.

I often put the DVD on instead of watching it, cos then I don't get the adverts :D

Hmm, saw this in the cinema and thought it was 2 good films but they felt unconnected. Looks great, acted well and everything, but over-hyped for me. A "Watch it while doing stuff" Film for me.
