I'm currenlty watching the fence of the building site next door being slowly obliterated (three panels are now missing) by the wind and am amazed that the flag poles are still standing and the flags are still attached.
Cambourne seems to be a bit worse off as redshira's roof is losing tiles.

To cheer you all up a bit, have some new penguin photos:

 




Do you see all those tiny black/white specks on the brownish areas? Those are all Adelie penguins and the rookery stretches even further to the right, a total of 3,000odd birds. The neon yellow blob by the big rock on the bottom left is a member of the expedition crew marking the furthest point we were allowed to go.


Uh oh, I think I've been spotted. ;o)

This group had been waiting and shuffling about by the beach for several minutes before the first one finally dived in and the others followed.
