Nice Spiegel article about food and drink in Franconia, the area where I (and in parts, whiskeylover) are from.
Basically, the gist is "Fantastic beer, good wines and great food at down to Earth prices. It's a culinary paradise, unless you're a vegetarian or on a grease-free diet..." ;o)
