[Bored at work] Intelligence test part 2

Remember the one with first letters and numbers?
There's a new one.
ETA: Got them all now (thanks to [livejournal.com profile] dougs and [livejournal.com profile] djonma for the hints).
ext_267: Photo of DougS, who has a round face with thinning hair and a short beard (Default)

Eighteen is easy.
Write an oriental verse.
Enjoy the summer.

D'oh!

[identity profile] reindeerflotila.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:14 pm (UTC)(link)
workweb sense blocks the loink. *sad*

[identity profile] crocodilewings.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm up to 13 myself.

I also wouldn't class 10 as common knowledge, and am trying to think of something that's the only seven-sided something in the world.

[identity profile] nina321.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:24 pm (UTC)(link)
am I spelling dalmations wrong, or is there 101 of something else beginning with d?

[identity profile] karohemd.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, you are spelling it wrong. :o)

[identity profile] nina321.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:29 pm (UTC)(link)
ah bugger

[identity profile] crocodilewings.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, and I'm so objecting to the finickity pedantry on the answer to #4. There are two of them! It's plural!

[identity profile] karohemd.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:41 pm (UTC)(link)
That annoyed me, too.
However, you could argue that the name is the plural already (it's not used in the singular, anyway) and yes, there are two but not in the same year.

[identity profile] crocodilewings.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Uh...are we talking about the same number 4?

Anyway, I've now got all of them apart from 19, and I'm beginning to doubt that there's anything in the world beginning with H which is unique for having seven sides.

[identity profile] reindeerflotila.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:54 pm (UTC)(link)
brainmeats muttered heptagram at me but there are two types so pooey to me.

[identity profile] crocodilewings.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Having just discovered what it is by some mild spoilerage, I certainly wouldn't class it as common knowledge.

[identity profile] nina321.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 03:59 pm (UTC)(link)
damn you, this is annoying me now.
Stuck on 17, 19, 23 and 24.

[identity profile] dr-wez.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 04:02 pm (UTC)(link)
24 is clearly Short Welsh Men (Shoot First!)

[identity profile] twentypence.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Number 24: This time last year the number would be 5.

[identity profile] karohemd.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Got it now thanks to [livejournal.com profile] djonma but I've screened the comment.

[identity profile] karohemd.livejournal.com 2006-05-26 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Hahaha!
