karohemdThe film is fantastic. I love old style horror films and pulps and this one is spot on. The cheap sets and ropey effects don't deter at all from the enjoyment because at that time, the effects were ropey, too.
It's also very true to the source and the Cthulhu stop-motion model is hilarious.
They even included "faults" and specks of debris in the film. The making of documentary on the DVD is interesting, too, both from the technical side and other bits like the outtakes and acting samples. You never hear the voices so they just improvised with some hilarious results.
